Cycling.

Cycling, also called biking or bycycling, is the use of bicycles for transport. After bullock carts the invention of bicycles, brought a revolution in transporting. It saved time and money to a great extent.

Apart from commuting, it helped to cure human beings from health hazards. Cycling can help to protect from serious diseases. The most common ailments of modern society, such as, stroke, heart attack, some forms of cancers, depression, diabetes, obesity and arthritis, can be avoided by mere cycling.

Cycling is mainly an aerobic Activity, which means that your heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a work out. You will breath deeper, perspire and experience increased body temperature. Your overall fitness level. The health benefits of regular cycling include increased cardiovascular fitness.

Riding a bike is fun. It is a low impact form of excersise for all ages. Give a tricycle to a toddler and see how happily he is engaged and will not at all bother the parents. Their stress level there by come to a low.

Recently we have observed the Earth Day. Among so many suggestions
for saving mother Earth, I would put cycling in it.

In Europe, specially in the Netherlands, people there use cycles in large numbers. Children, young and old and both men and women use bicycles. If we here develop a passion for cycling, we can make our country clean and clear.

We Indians are very status concerned. We think, cycle is for those, who are not well to do. So we feel proud to use cars. If one doesn’t own a car, what is his status !Our young generation feels it shameful to cycle to schools and colleges. They want motor cycles.

It is good, if people with power, money and high positions use bicycles in this country of ours, then it will set a good example for common people. There by we can save fuel, money and above all our environment.
